Method — scene-based coverage
The signature-shot list is grouped into four micronarratives plus two free units. Each unit bundles a cluster of related shots into a single setup, so one lighting build serves multiple deliverables rather than chasing isolated shots. Mixed look: controlled evening lighting in the controllable rooms (cellar, and the terrace with its electric blinds lowered); natural, bright treatment in the daylight rooms.

Schedule is driven by lighting changeovers
A two-person unit (Paul + Rob) operates both lighting and camera, so each full build runs roughly 15–20 minutes with no camera rolling. Units are clustered by floor (kit moves three times maximum), and heavy builds alternate with house-light units. The Osmo 360 and Action 6 record continuously during builds — additional angles without additional operators.

Concept
Establishes the venue before guests arrive. Drone lifts over Décarie to the covered rooftop; gimbal pushes through the entrance and reveals the new terrasse setup in clean daylight — fresh and aspirational. Intended as a stronger counterpart to the competitor (40 Westt) blue-hour exterior, using the rooftop elevation they lack.

Why first
Daylight is strongest and weather risk lowest at call, and the space is clean before 20 guests dress it. Drone is captured first — it is the only shot that cannot be recreated later.

Concept
The terrace's electric blinds are lowered to control midday glare and a warm evening look is built; the DJ and guests turn the terrace into a nightlife scene. The richest room on the list — roughly 10 signature-shot items are covered here.

Concept
Tableside service as performance. A couple at a linen-set table; the waiter performs the preparation. Windows are darkened so the flambé flame is the brightest element in frame — the strongest social-hero frame of the day.

Safety
Open flame indoors: clear the area, the captain operates the burner, and a rehearsal pass runs before rolling all three cameras. Fire beats are shot multiple times — inexpensive to repeat and never identical.

Concept
The venue's most exclusive room — stone floor, thousands of bottles, glass walls. A couple or small group dines inside, shot through the glass (the signature frame), while the sommelier pulls a bottle. Delivers a premium look for minimal lighting, as the room is already dark.

Producer flags

Decide before the day

Cigar lounge + standalone bar are not separate scenes
A fifth fully-lit room is not feasible for a two-person unit within the window. Drink builds fold into ② (rooftop bar); cigars and bar become five-minute detail grabs only if a build finishes early. If the cigar lounge is a client priority, the Kitchen unit (⑤) is the trade to make room — decision required.

Talent must be staged on schedule
The marketing director owns the talent call — the largest risk to the schedule. 20 guests + DJ styled by 11:55 for ②; couple + performing waiter for ③; couple + sommelier for ④; chef for ⑤.

Protect for vertical
Frame 16:9 with 9:16 safe, or capture a quick vertical pass on hero beats (flambé, cheers, DJ, grill). The Osmo 360 covers this — reframe to any ratio in post.

Drone is weather-gated
Capture first thing (11:30) while conditions hold. If grey or windy, the gimbal entrance + rooftop reveal carry the opener without it.
